Philadelphia Flyers forward Tyson Foerster has found his scoring touch right when his team needed it most.
After missing four games with a lower-body injury suffered against the Seattle Kraken on February 10, Foerster now has arguably the hottest hand of any player on the Flyers roster. He’s logged four goals along with an assist in his three games since returning to the lineup, and his confidence appears to be at an all-time high.
Foerster scored perhaps the most impressive goal of his career in Tuesday night’s victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning, dancing around Lightning defenseman Nick Perbix with a slick between-the-legs move before beating five-time All-Star goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy with a picture-perfect backhander.
