The Flyers have used free agency to boost the stock of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms these last few years, and Ron Hextall has done that again today, reportedly signing forward Andy Miele to help out the AHL squad.

Miele, 28, is basically an AHL lifer. After winning the Hobey as in 2011 with Miami University, Miele joined the Coyotes organization. He played just seven NHL games that first year and in total since has only played 15 NHL games.
