The Flyers sent Nick Cousins and Colin McDonald to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Saturday afternoon to make room for R.J. Umberger and Ryan White, who were activated from injured reserve.
The move gives the Flyers fresh skaters after Friday night’s overtime win against New Jersey. The Flyers were 4-0 when playing with a line of Scott Laughton, Cousins, and McDonald.
Umberger had been sidelined since suffering a foot injury on Nov. 7. White has been out since mid-November with an upper-body injury. Umberger and White could be paired with Laughton on Saturday night when the Flyers host Columbus.
