With much effort, Scott Laughton made the Flyers roster this year. He has not gone unnoticed as the start of the season progresses. His fast skating, defensive play has helped the team to be successful right out of the gate. He scored his first goal of the season against Henrik Lundqvist and now records three points in seven games. He is quickly proving his value on the NHL ice in Philadelphia.
The young player came to Philadelphia as the Flyers 2012 first-round pick and has certainly been working hard to earn it.
