Flyers' Schultz sidelined; Konecny, Sanheim get World Juniors invite

OTTAWA _ Defenseman Nick Schultz, injured when leveled by the Rangers' 6-foot-5, 220-pound Dylan McIlrath on Saturday, is unable to play Tuesday in Ottawa.

Schultz took part in Tuesday's morning skate, but is still not ready to play. He missed nearly the last 50 minutes in the Flyers' 3-0 win in Madison Square Garden.

Brandon Manning will replace Schultz and will be paired with Shayne Gostisbehere.

Evgeny Medvedev, who was paired with Gostisbehere in the last two games (both wins), will be matched with Luke Schenn on Tuesday.

The Flyers will aim for their first three-game winning streak of the season.
