Flyers winger Matt Read says he is maintaining a positive attitude despite the frustration of being a healthy scratch during Saturday’s 2-1 loss at the Staples Center to the Los Angeles Kings.
It was the first time he was scratched this season. The 29-year-old Read has five goals and seven assists in 36 games. He has a plus-minus rating of -5.
“It is a learning experience and a lot of guys go through this in their career and you have to move forward and get better every day,” Read said after Monday’s practice at the Skate Zone.
