Ask around the Flyers’ locker room about who is regarded as the “class clown” among the group, the almost unanimous answer is probably top line winger Michael Raffl.
No one may know that better than his linemates, Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek.
So after Raffl took an elbow to the head from Rangers forward Jarret Stoll early in the second period and skated over the bench and appeared to pass out, Giroux wasn’t all that sold.
“Michael is a funny guy and sometimes he does something funny and I thought he was just joking around,” Giroux said after the Flyers’ 3-2 shootout win over the Rangers.
