ON A NORMAL day, Flyers coach Dave Hakstol would have watched the previous night's game film before the next day's practice. Tuesday night wasn't one of those normal nights and Wednesday wasn't one of those normal practice days, though Tuesday's performance might feel pretty normal to Flyers fans.
"I didn't need to," Hakstol said of watching the film, something he did later Wednesday.
Hakstol knew exactly what the problem was in the game, which was followed by a second closed-door meeting in 15 games.
The Flyers, who on Tuesday dropped their seventh game in their last eight, quite simply didn't have an appropriate level of "battle.
