The Flyers’ recent first-round draft picks are making headlines. First, 2019 first-round pick, Cam York, made news by signing a three-year entry-level contract. Afterward, 2020 first-round selection Tyson Foerster said “hold my beer!”
As we wait to see when York makes his professional debut with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Foerster was leading the Phantoms to victory over the Hershey Bears, 4-1. Foerster had a four-point night, scoring two goals and adding two assists. The win gave Phantoms head coach, Scott Gordon, his 400th AHL career win.
