The 2019 World Junior Summer Showcase got underway this past Friday, and the Philadelphia Flyers have four prospects participating for two different countries in the week-long tournament-like camp. No team really “wins” this event, per se, as it’s more designed for coaches to get a better look at which potential players could play for their junior teams during the World Junior Championships in the winter.
Joel Farabee has led the way amongst Flyers prospects so far during the showcase. Farabee scored two goals in Team USA Blue’s game against Team Finland, putting his skill set on full display.
