The Flyers' development camp, which ended Sunday at the Skate Zone in Voorhees, offered plenty of positives, but none that would make the team stamp any prospects as potential NHL players this fall. That doesn't mean it can't happen, but the Flyers aren't going to say so in July.
General manager Ron Hextall "has been preaching patience and that is very important," said Flyers player development coach John Riley, who ran the camp along with Kjell Samuelsson, the former Flyer. "It's a big jump for these guys to think they will go from where they were playing last year, certainly the guys who were all playing amateur last year.
