After finding themselves down 3-1 in the series, Philadelphia Flyers prospect Isaac Ratcliffe and the Guelph Storm came back to defeat the Saginaw Spirit and win the Wayne Gretzky Trophy to become OHL Western Conference Champions. This was the second straight series in which they forced and subsequently won a Game 7.
While Ratcliffe didn’t score any goals since our last update on him, he still had a two-assist performance in Game 6 that helped him earn third-star honors. He also tied for the team lead in shots-on-goal in Game 7 with five, showing that even when he can’t get on the scoresheet, he still provides value for the Storm.
