OTTAWA, Ontario - With the Flyers offense struggling, general manager Ron Hextall may soon be tempted to recall high-scoring left winger Petr Straka from the Phantoms.
For now, however, Hextall, is staying patient. That means the speedy Straka - who entered Saturday tied for the AHL lead with 10 goals - is staying with Lehigh Valley for the time being.
The general manager wants Straka, 23, to manage the puck better and improve defensively.
"He's getting better than he was the last two years; he's paying the price more," Hextall said before the Flyers played in Ottawa on Saturday night.
