VANCOUVER - With Sean Couturier still sidelined by a concussion, the Flyers recalled winger Chris Conner from the AHL's Phantoms on Sunday, giving them more depth in the last four games of their road trip.
"He's got some skill; he's a seasoned player," general manager Ron Hextall said. "He gives the coach another option."
Conner, a career journeyman, has 22 goals and 50 points in 180 NHL games.
By adding Conner ($575,000 salary-cap hit), the Flyers are only about $95,000 under the cap.
Conner was expected to arrive in Vancouver on Sunday night, and he does not figure to be in Monday's lineup against the Canucks.
