We finally have some more Flyers news. It looks like SHL star Linus Sandin has decided to sign with the Flyers. He reportedly had multiple NHL options on the table but has picked Philadelphia as his destination.
If the name sounds familiar, that is because he is the older brother of current Leafs defensemen, Rasmus Sandin. Rasmus was drafted by the Leafs in 2018, making his debut in the AHL that season. His NHL debut came this season.
For Linus, he has spent his entire hockey career thus far playing in Sweden. He spent a lot of his early career playing for Modo Hockey’s J18 and J20 teams.
