Steve Mason will go into the all-star break feeling good about himself.
The Flyers' goalie won his last two starts, compiling a .972 save percentage and 0.97 goals-against average in those games. Michal Neuvirth started against Toronto on Thursday, the Flyers' last game before the break.
"It's good to have him going well," coach Dave Hakstol said before Thursday's game. "He's been a big part of our last two wins."
In Wednesday's 2-0 victory over the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden, "I thought he was the best player on the ice in the first half of the game," Hakstol said.
