A day after Flyers general manager Ron Hextall announced that defenseman Andrew MacDonald would not play during Wednesday's crucial game in Detroit, there could now be a change of heart.
MacDonald, who was slammed into the boards during Sunday's 6-2 loss at Pittsburgh, participated fully during Tuesday's brief practice at the Skate Zone.
Even though MacDonald is still listed as day to day with an upper body injury, he will be making the trip to Detroit.
"A decision will be made [Wednesday] whether I can go or not and we will go from there," MacDonald said.
