Forward Jordan Weal re-joined the Flyers at practice Tuesday but it appears he still isn’t ready to return to game action. Weal was hurt after taking a hit from Edmonton’s Eric Gryba in Thursday’s 6-3 loss to the Oilers.
The Flyers are terming it an upper body injury and it appears to be his head.
“It is one of those injuries you have to take your time with,” Weal said after practice. “When I feel I am ready to play I will.”
Weal was recently promoted from the Phantoms where he was second in the AHL with 47 points.
