Flyers head to Sin City, but it's no party to visit Vegas

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Most NHL teams that play in Vegas for the first time not only have to contend with the stunningly strong Golden Knights, but they have to avoid the temptations of Sin City.

The Flyers, thanks to their condensed schedule, only have to deal with the former.

That’s coach Dave Hakstol’s hope, anyway.

Since the Flyers play in Arizona on Friday night and probably won’t get to Vegas until early Saturday morning, there won’t be much time to, um, inspect The Strip. The Flyers play in Vegas at 5 p.m. (Pacific Coast Time) on Saturday night, so they are expected to go straight to their hotel after their plane lands and get some needed sleep.
