The Flyers on Tuesday night will complete a stretch in which they will have played the last 10 games against Western Conference opponents, hosting the Vancouver Canucks.
During that span, the Flyers have won just two of nine against the West, beating St. Louis, 2-0, and Chicago, 3-1.
“We have to make sure we take care of the challenge today, and then obviously (the schedule) changes a little bit, going into divisional play,” coach Dave Hakstol said after Tuesday’s morning skate in Voorhees.
Overall, the Flyers have played 16 of their 20 games against the West; they have won five of those games (5-7-4).
