Ever since the Flyers selected Radel Fazleev in the sixth round of the 2014 draft, the sturdy center/left winger has made marked improvement each season.
Now Fazleev, after a Western Hockey League season in which he collected 71 points in 59 games, is preparing to make the leap from juniors to Lehigh Valley in the AHL. If he continues making strides, he may one day be viewed as a sixth-round steal.
The 6-foot, 199-pound Fazleev has adequate (and getting better) speed and is regarded as a strong two-way player who does a lot of little things to win games.
