Flyers winger Dale Weise has a hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety on Friday for Thursday's shoulder-to-the-head hit on Anaheim's Korbinian Holzer.
Weise was not penalized for the hit, but that doesn't mean he will escape a suspension.
If he is suspended, Nick Cousins figures to move to the third line, and Roman Lyubimov would likely go to the fourth line.
After the second-period hit, Ryan Getzlaf tripped Weise and went to the penalty box.
The Flyers had seven power plays - five more than Anaheim - but dropped a 3-2 decision. They managed just one goal and five shots on their power plays.
