Following back-to-back embarrassing losses to close out the month of October, Philadelphia Flyers General Manager and Team President Chuck Fletcher has brought in three more players to help spark the team. The Flyers announced on Thursday morning that they’ve called up forwards German Rubtsov, Carsen Twarynski, and defenseman Philippe Myers while subsequently loaning Mikhail Vorobyev and Samuel Morin to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Morin will be playing with the Phantoms on a conditioning stint so he won’t have to go through waivers. The team has also placed Scott Laughton on Long Term Injured Reserve after undergoing surgery on his right index finger and is still expected to miss three-to-four weeks of action.
