While the Philadelphia Flyers have done their best to milk every last minute out of the preseason thus far, sending four out of six games into overtime, sometimes a good old-fashioned blowout is much more entertaining.
That’s exactly what the Flyers were able to pull off against the Bruins Thursday night, winning by a convincing score of 5-1. Here are some observations from the victory:

- The powerplay finally woke up! The PP2 unit was responsible for both goals, with Travis Konecny and Sean Couturier exchanging slick passes for deflections near the net.
