Flyers goalie Michal Neuvirth was activated from injured reserve on Tuesday, and he said he is ready to return after being sidelined for 22 games since November with an injured left knee.
"I've been asked how I feel, and I was practicing pretty well last week," Neuvirth said Tuesday. "I felt pretty good today, and I feel ready."
Neuvirth's return is welcomed by goalie Steve Mason, who has started 24 of the last 26 games. Mason has recorded a .916 save percentage since Neuvirth's injury on Nov. 12. Anthony Stolarz, who has started just twice since being promoted from the Phantoms, was returned to Lehigh Valley.
