GENERAL MANAGER Ron Hextall was candid during his first time speaking with the media following the Flyers' road trip last week.
After getting the injury updates out of the way, Hextall was pressed on how he thought the Flyers were playing 15 games into Dave Hakstol's first year behind the bench.
He spoke about the lack of effort exerted in recent games, something that caused Hakstol to put the Flyers up to their most difficult, physical practice since training camp on Wednesday. Hextall talked about the inconsistencies and striking a balance between the peaks and the valleys.
