Despite down year, the Flyers entertained in win against Boston

The most impressive part of last night’s victory was the 39-save performance by 20-year-old goaltender Carter Hart. Hart showed he belongs in Philadelphia, beating out a very good Boston Bruins team that will most likely be playing into the playoffs this season.

The Flyers were out-shot 42 to 19, which on most nights would result in a blowout loss, but Hart kept the team in it the whole game.

After Flyers forward Jori Lehtera took a 5 minute major resulting in a game misconduct, Philadelphia’s penalty kill, and most importantly goalie Hart, had to stand up to a stacked Boston power play with plenty of scoring power.
