BUFFALO - Two players from the Czech Republic - center Pavel Zacha and goalie Daniel "Darth" Vladar - are high on the Flyers' radar and will be given strong consideration during the June 26-27 NHL draft.
After finishing the grueling fitness testing at the NHL scouting combine Saturday in Buffalo, both confirmed they were interviewed by the Flyers.
Zacha, a speedy and physical 6-foot-3, 210-pounder, could be available when the Flyers pick at No. 7, but he will certainly be gone by the time they make their second pick, which will be at 29th or 30th, depending on Tampa Bay's finish in the Stanley Cup Finals.
