I don't know exactly when the Flyers got rid of Coatesy's Corner on CSN broadcasts. Wikipedia says that it ended at some point during the 2011 season and was slowly phased out that year. That seems right, but my memory is a little fuzzy on it.
In any event, COATESY'S CORNER BACK. And yes, there's a prank.
The Flyers really never should have gotten rid of Coatesy's Corner in my opinion. It was perfect first intermission fodder, and I remember looking forward to it during games in the early-to-mid 2000s. Really wouldn't mind seeing this as a regular feature on the Flyers' website if they can't bring it back on the TV broadcast.
