The Giroux news confirms what was reported late last week, while the Gostisbehere revelation is new but not terribly surprising.
On Saturday afternoon the Flyers confirmed reports from earlier this week that Claude Giroux will have surgery this upcoming week on his injured right hip, but the team -- which has not fully revealed its post-season surgery list yet -- had some other news on Giroux as well as rookie defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere.
Per #Flyers GM Ron Hextall, both Claude Giroux and Shayne Gostisbehere will have surgery.
