Coming off a less than stellar 7-3 blowout loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, the Philadelphia Flyers will hope to turn the tides as they play host to the Anaheim Ducks at the Wells Fargo Center. Though their record isn’t pretty, the Ducks have played decent as of late, winning two of their last three games, both in overtime. As I’ve said in the past, Philly can’t underestimate a team they’re clearly better than record-wise and have to take care of business in order to snap a three-game losing streak. The Flyers also called up forward Andy Andreoff from Lehigh Valley while simultaneously sending Carsen Twarynski back down.
