The hits just keep on coming, as the update we’ve been dreading has finally come. Flyers goalie Carter Hart will miss 2-3 weeks due to an abdominal strain, likely suffered at practice Tuesday morning.
Initial reports just detailed him being taken off the ice. Many thought it was precautionary, until another report came out, courtesy of Bill Meltzer.
Now, after the update has come, we all know that Hart will be out 2-3 weeks. The Flyers have already made a flurry of moves to accommodate calling up backup Alex Lyon, sending Joel Farabee to the Phantoms, and placing Chris Stewart on waivers.
