The city of Philadelphia loves Carter Hart. We know this by now. We all feel it. But you know who else loves Hart, too? The NHL, apparently! They’ve made him their rookie of the month for January.

It’s a deserved title, Hart’s had a pretty stellar January—he closed out the month with a five game winning streak, but held up across the whole of the month. Over that time, he put up a record of 6-2-1 and a save percentage of .931. Additionally, he led the league in saves, with 283, and ranked third in total ice-time with 540:13.
