BSH reacts to the 1-0 shootout win over the Montreal Canadiens

Last night was in many ways a tale of two games, as a mostly uneventful 60 minutes turned into an action-packed overtime and shootout which saw the Flyers come out victorious over the Canadiens at the Bell Centre.

The game was scoreless through 60 minutes due in large part to the outstanding goaltending of Charlie Lindgren and Petr Mrazek. Mrazek (28 saves) earned his first shutout as a Flyer and stopped 5 of 6 shooters in the shootout. Oskar Lindblom was solid in what may have been his “weakest” game thus far and nearly potted his first NHL goal early in the 2nd period as he drove to the net and received a stellar pass from Jake Voracek.
