With today's devastating news that Flyers defenseman Michael Del Zotto will be out indefinitely with an upper-body injury (rumored to be a wrist injury that's been bugging him for weeks that was then aggravated in today's game against the Devils), the Flyers will recall Andrew MacDonald to take Del Zotto's place on the roster, reports Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post.

MacDonald, of course, is in the second year of a six-year, $30 million contract with the Flyers, and was sent down to the Flyers' AHL team in Lehigh Valley after a rough first year of that deal and preseason performance this year.
