The Flyers play as of late has helped move them into second place in the Metropolitan Division. Whether it’s the offense, special teams or goaltending, the team has found a way to win in a variety of ways.
And some of those wins have come against teams they are battling with for playoff positioning. They swept a home and home against the Columbus Blue Jackets and New York Rangers. They also defeated the Winnipeg Jets and San Jose Sharks. They outscored their opponents 27-13 in that stretch.
Their 4.5 goals per game are first in the NHL over that stretch.
