Yes, the NHL’s 32nd team will take over in Seattle for the 2021-22 season, which means there’s another expansion draft coming, which means that the Flyers are going to lose a player.
The last time there was an expansion draft in the NHL, the Flyers managed to get by without a ton of damage, losing only fourth-line center Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and not having to give up any draft picks or assets to steer Vegas a certain way.
