The Flyers officially kick off the 2019-2020 season this afternoon as they face off against the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL Global Series taking place in Prague, Czech Republic. While it came down to the wire for some, just about everyone is accounted for including a fan-favorite, Travis Konecny, who signed a six-year deal worth $33 million dollars with the Flyers just barely a few weeks ago. It came close as Konecny missed the on-ice camp in Voorhees and didn’t sign until after the preseason began. However, hands were shaken and the deal is deal done; Travis Konecny is locked up and will be donning a Flyers sweater for the next six years barring a trade.
