Bill Barber became the third Flyers player to record 100 points in a season when he grabbed two assists against the Vancouver Canucks. It was a comeback victory that saw the Flyers score three unanswered goals after going down 2-0.
Barber assisted on goals by Jack McIlhargey and Reggie Leach in the second period. Bobby Clarke had reached that feat three separate times, including that same season. Rick MacLeish had posted one 100-point season previously as well.
Barber would finish that season with 112 points, the only season he crossed the 100-point threshold.
