Unless they trade up - and general manager Ron Hextall is trying to do just that - the Flyers won't have a chance to select the four highest-ranked forwards in the first round of Friday's draft: Auston Matthews, Patrik Laine, Jesse Puljujarvi or Matthew Tkachuk.
That means Hextall, scouting director Chris Pryor and the rest of the staff will probably turn to Plan B, hoping one of the following forwards (listed alphabetically) is available with the 18th overall selection:
Kieffer Bellows, left wing, 6-foot, 197 pounds.
