9 former Flyers among NHL's top 100; Hall of Famer Barber among the snubbed

Nine former Flyers are among the top 100 players in NHL history.

The list was compiled by an NHL panel to commemorate the league’s 100-year history. The league, curiously, did not rank the top 100 players in any special order.

Some of the former Flyers on the list just had a cup of coffee with the team. Some were mainstays like Bobby Clarke, Bernie Parent, and Eric Lindros.

Other former Flyers on the list: Paul Coffey, Peter Forsberg, Jaromir Jagr, Adam Oates, Chris Pronger, and Darryl Sittler.

Hall of Fame left winger Bill Barber was snubbed.
