How are we holding up, Flyers fans? The draft is still happening, the picks are rolling in, and the Flyers have picked up another defenseman!
With their 158th overall pick, the Flyers have selected Ty Murchison from the US National Team Development Program. Murchison put up modest scoring numbers in his draft year, with three goals and two assists in 23 games played (USHL) and seven goals and eight assists in 48 games played (USDP). He brings good size (6’2”, 192 pounds), but could still stand to get a little stronger. And while there’s still some polishing that needs to go into his game, all told, there’s a lot to like.
