Claude Giroux was snubbed from Team Canada at the 2014 Olympics, and he missed out on a gold medal as a result. Might that happen again? He wasn't named to the preliminary roster of 16 players, released on Wednesday.

Giroux won gold with his country at the World Championship in 2015, along with Flyers teammates Sean Couturier and Brayden Schenn. Couturier will be on the under-23 Team North America at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, and Schenn seems like a long shot to make either club right now.
