The Philadelphia Flyers announced the details of their 2016 training camp, announcing that camp will officially begin with on-ice workouts on Friday, September 23. They also unveiled the 64-man roster that will hit the ice at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees for camp.
Camp begins before the end of the World Cup of Hockey, so depending on how far each team advances in that tournament, the Flyers could be without the services of several key players: Claude Giroux, Shayne Gostisbehere, Jakub Voracek, Sean Couturier, Michal Neuvirth, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Mark Streit are all competing in the WCH.
