None of the three Philadelphia Eagles players originally named to the 2019 Pro Bowl — Brandon Brooks, Fletcher Cox, and Zach Ertz — will be playing in the actual game this year.
Brooks obviously can’t play even if he wanted to. The Eagles’ starting right guard suffered an Achilles injury during Philadelphia’s playoff loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Cox and Ertz, meanwhile, have withdrawn from the event. Cox also got injured during Sunday’s loss to the Saints and was seen wearing a walking boot during Monday’s Eagles locker room clean-out.
