One of the really cool things about the last two NFL Drafts is that the Philadelphia Eagles came away with some really good first-round picks.
2016’s Carson Wentz is a franchise quarterback and was a legitimate MVP candidate last season. 2017’s Derek Barnett, who is only 21 years old, showed that he has a bright future as an NFL edge rusher.
Another cool part about these picks (to me, at least) is how these guys were first introduced to Philadelphia. Both players physically attended the draft and held up an Eagles jersey as they posed on stage with Roger Goodell after officially being selected.
