The Philadelphia Eagles have been hit with a pretty hefty blow following an impressive week-seven victory over the Washington Redskins. Two of their leaders, one on offense and one on defense, are out for the season. The news came down shortly before lunch on Monday, and said news was then confirmed by head coach Doug Pederson at his press conference. Starting left tackle Jason Peters and starting middle linebacker Jordan Hicks are out for the season.
For Hicks, that’s the second time in his first three seasons that his season will end with him on the injured reserve list.
