The Eagles were back to work on Sunday after their first preseason game, and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio spoke to reporters about the defensive performance, and how a lot of the young guys did in their first live NFL action.
Fangio also talked about the Eagles’ signing safety Caden Sterns — someone the DC coached in Denver a couple years ago.
“Yeah, [Sterns] was a good player. Moved well. Had good instincts. Good ball skills. Had a good feel for the game. We just need to see where he’s at physically. He’s only played five games in the last two years, I believe.
