Philadelphia Eagles tight end Trey Burton an undrafted free agent in 2014, was expected to fill the same role James Casey filled last season, but he's showing more than being a core special teams player.
The Eagles see Burton as a long-term solution as the No. 2 behind Zach Ertz.
"I think he's ready to make a jump and help the team, not just on special teams, but as an offensive player, as well," Sanchez said, via Philly.com.
"He did a good job [on that TD] of finding a window [in the zone defense] to get open.
