Three observations from the Eagles' loss to the Dolphins

1. Knocked out: Sam Bradford seemed so durable … or lucky. Bradford absorbed four terrific hits in the first half but kept on ticking. He got hit above his twice-repaired left knee and buckled awkwardly, but Bradford showed no ill effects. Bradford also took an illegal (barely illegal) shot under his chin from 315-pound defensive tackle C.J. Mosely, who hit Bradford at full speed, just before halftime. Again, Bradford survived. And then, Chris McCain landed on Bradford, injured Bradford’s left shoulder and gave him a concussion.

2. Off the Mark: As he did last season, backup Mark Sanchez took over for the starter and the offense immediately ran 3-5 seconds faster.
